Sections 5.1.1, 5.1.3 and 5.1.4) is prescribed as under: 1) Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) Minimum Qualifications and Experience required for designation of RSO for: A) * Manufacturer/Supplier! Service Agencies of diagnostic x-ray equipment iv) Degree/ Diploma in Electrical /Electronic /Biomedical /Mechanical Engineering or in an associated discipline/Basic degree in Science with Physics as one of the subject from a recognized University/Institution, and v) __ Cettification of successful completion of training course on “Radiation Safety and Quality Assurance in Diagnostic Radiology’ conducted by authorized agencies, and vi) A certification from the competent authority Note: * The candidate with above qualifications can be nominated as RSO for all types of Medical X-ray Installations. W) X-ray technologist: Radiographer's /X-ray technologist's course (including in-field training in diagnostic radiology) passed from a recognized institution/Board/University.
