Announcements
•Friday, 8/30 is a half day- We will dismiss at noon.

• Monday, 9/2 there is no school for Labor Day- See you Tuesday, 9/3!

•Reading Log: Starting September 1, students should read for at least 20 minutes on 18 days
of the month. They should also answer one question in complete sentences on the back of the
log. For each day that the reading log is late, 10 points will be subtracted from the overall
grade. Reading logs are due at the end of each month. The September Reading Log will be
handed out on Friday, August 30, and will be due due Tuesday, October 1.

•Tardies/ Absences: Starting this week, tardies and absences will be recorded each morning.
Please let all of your child’s teachers know if he or she will be absent as soon as possible, or
send an email letting us know of his or her tardy.

•St. B’s Bucks: If you would like to donate any items for your students to buy through St. B’s
bucks (our classroom economy system), please send them in with your child! We would love if
any parents would be interested in donating a basketball, soccer ball, and a football to
purchase as some of the larger, more expensive items.

•Renweb: Please keep up with your child’s grade percentages and progress on Renweb.

Reminders
• Please check your child’s agenda daily. The agenda contains important information regarding
assessments, assignments and projects. It also contains assignments from the day that may
need to be completed as homework.

• Please try to remind your student to bring their own snacks each day. We are letting them
know it is their responsibility to make sure they pack them.

• Chapel is every Tuesday morning. Please have your child wear the chapel uniform and proper
accessories (ties and cross-ties).
