Subject: USA/Canada Membership Cut-off & Election Schedule
This is to duly notify all USA/Canada overseas members, that in response to the numerous emails received
by OIC, requesting extension in the membership cut off dates, the PTI Overseas Election Commission in
consultation with Office of International Chapters (OIC) is pleased to announce extension to membership
cut off to enable respective members continue their efforts to expand member network.
Membership & Election Dates
The new election dates are hereby as follows;
Membership Cut-Off (USA and CANADA): Monday,
September 30, 2019
Regional Election Date (CANADA): November 5th, 2019
Regional Election Date (USA): November 7th, 2019
National Election: Within 1 week of regional election results
USA Regions
Following regions shall be considered to have their own teams prior to reach the minimum criteria of 100
members:
1. New York
2. New Jersey
3. East Pennsylvania
4. West Pennsylvania
5. District Columbia
6. Virginia
7. Carolina
8. Illinois
9. Missouri
10. Georgia (Atlanta etc.)
11. Florida (Miami, Orlando etc.)
12. Texas (Houston, Dallas etc.)
13. California (LA, SF etc.)
14. Washington (Seattle etc.)
Apart from these regions any region with more than 100 members shall be considered as independent
region.

Canada Regions
Following regions shall be considered to have their own teams prior to reach the minimum criteria of 100
members:
1. Toronto (GTA)
2. Ottawa (East Ontario)
3. South/West Ontario (Windsor/London and adjacent areas)
4. Montreal (Quebec)
5. Atlantic (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island newfoundland
and Labrador
6. Central (Saskatchewan & Manitoba)
7. Calgary (South Alberta)
8. Edmonton (North Alberta)
9. Vancouver (British Columbia)
Apart from these regions any region with more than 100 members shall be considered as independent
region.

Election Commission hopes that all regions will endeavor to meet their minimum criteria for them to be
eligible to have an intra-party election. Further guidance on election process will be published in due
course of the process.
