The Manhole Installation for Domestic Water Tank
inside Pump Room
Content to be pointed out:
Domestic Water Tank cover is flush with the Pump Room FFL.
potential when doing servicing, or cleaning of pump room, or leakages from pipes above,
the dirty water may drip into the Water tank and may cause contamination.
Way of correction :
Instal manhole cover c/w rubber gasket
Measure
During design & planning stage should be coordinate “SAME,
coordination should be done at the time of shop drawing /before build.
It is advisable to raise the Domestic Water tank cover around 100 to 150mm above the pump room FFL
in order to avoid any dirty water from dripping into the Domestic Water tank.

gave space between duct and wall, caulking
with rock wool and sealant
