P12 Path Process

This document provides a 3-step procedure to upgrade software on a node: 1. Place the upgrade files win_32.exe and TN703Bv2.8.1_p12.tar.gz in a folder called "upgrade" on the C drive of a PC. 2. Use CMD to navigate to the upgrade folder and verify all files are present. 3. Run the upgrade_win32.exe file followed by the target node's IP address and file path to initiate the upgrade.

PATCH UPGRADE PROCEDURE A1/A2

Step 1 :Place software win_32.exe and


TN703Bv2.8.1_p12.tar.gz file in folder name upgrade in

C drive of PC.
Step 2:Go to cmd prompt and change drive to
upgrade by cmd
>CD C:\upgrade
You will be in upgrade folder in C drive now
Now cmd promt see like this.

c:\upgrade>
Now use dir cmd to verify all files are in
folder
c:\upgrade>dir

ouput will be like this

c:\upgrade>dir

Volume in drive C is OS

Volume Serial Number is 2A9D-192A

Directory of c:\upgrade

032018 20:58 <DIR> ..

02-03-2018 03:46 20,941,435 TN703B.Rev.Av2.8.1_p7.tar.gz

28-02-2018 11:01 6,573,881 upgrade_win32.exe

5 File(s) 108,886,598 bytes

Step 3 : Now single cmd will update the
node.

upgrade_win32.exe 192.168.1.201 c:\upgrade\TN703Bv2.8.1_p12.tar.gz

Note do not change directory after step 2

All cmd shown in single slide.


And you are all done with upgrade

Note :Folder naming & Place is just for simplicity . You can place file
any where as per your requirement.

Path of these file can be viewed properties of file by right click of


file .
If Files are placed else where pls modify path in cmd prompt.
