1. INTRODUCTION
P rayas Prarambha is a young and dynamic company specializing in Research, Digital Data
Collection and Analysis; facilitating and preparing Business Plans, Detailed Project Report
(DPR) , Strategic and Master Planning of diverse fields including, Tourism, Agriculture and
Livestock Management, Institutional Development, Solid Waste Management and Community
Development Project Design and Development.
Having a team of experts to undertake the aforementioned activities. Quality and Innovation are
the key features of Prayas Prarambha. In the first two years of establishment, Prayas Prarambha
has worked with nine (9) Municipalities/Rural Municipalities. It provides services in the fields of
strategic consulting, human resource development, Institutional development, and project
management, to both private and public sector clients. Driven by the value of strong performance,
the company designs innovative and effective services, on the basis of operational integration.
Combining creativity, strategy, credibility, and international experience, Prayas Praramha offers
its clients the opportunity to achieve their objectives in an ever-changing economic and social
environment. The strategic goal of Prayas Prarambha is providing continuous input to the needs
of government, non-government, private business firms and individual. It collaborates with
leading companies and academic institutions in Nepal, specializing in the fields of social research,
planning, ICT4D, trainings and adaptation of new technologies and the strategies.
2. PRAYAS PRARAMBHA: An Inexorable March
The company has been run by a group of professionals having vivid experience and wide exposure
in Community Development, Information Technology, Social Research, Data Analysis and Business
Management. People involved here are young qualified graduates and qualified engineers, social
scientist from the renowned universities of nepal as well as across the globe.
The resource personnel working in the company have been consistently providing reliable support
services and consultancy to the local governments, non-government organizations, community
forest user groups, agriculture firms and industry, a wide variety of cooperatives like Saving and
Credits, Multi-Purpose, Agriculture, Social Entrepreneurs, Agricultural Cooperatives and other
cooperatives based on production and trade. We have also been working supporting in the
capacity building of executives, staffs and developing human resources as per market needs and
