Drone Flight Safety Guidelines in Canada

Flying drones for recreation requires registering your drone and obtaining a pilot certificate. You must fly below 400 feet, more than 400 feet from buildings and people, and more than 1.9 km from heliports or 5.6 km from airports. Always respect privacy and do not fly near emergency sites or large events. With permission, more advanced flights are allowed in controlled airspace.
