Course Description:
This course involves the study of the basic considerations of management consultancy engagement performed by CPAs.
The different areas of management consultancy, the professional attributes of management consultants and the ethical
considerations in rendering management accounting services are discussed. It also covers preparation and presentation of a
project feasibility study, information system engagement, management and operations audits, and business process
improvements.

2.1 Know the importance of MAS in the efficient operations of a business.
2.2 Enumerate the areas of MAS and the professional attributes of management consultants
2.3 Have clear understanding of the code of ethics for MAS practice in the Philippines and apply the same in the practice of
MAS.

3.1 Acquire all the necessary knowledge to be able to practice management consultancy with the quality of services as
required by the professional standards
3.2 Analyze, collate and interpret data in order to arrive at proper recommendation to management.
3.3 Prepare and defend feasibility studies.
