- Copy the contents of the CBLoader folder into the Character Builder folder located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Wizards of the Coast\Character Builder. If a Custom folder already exists, delete it. - Run the CBLoader application to download updates and merge the files. Wait for the process to complete before using Character Builder. - You can create a desktop shortcut for the CBLoader application by right clicking, sending to desktop, and changing the icon.

All right, so here's how to install this onto your Character Builder:

-Copy the contents of the CBLoader folder.

( a "OR" indicates name differences across the different Windows Operating System
versions [Namely, 32 and 64 bit or XP terminology]) (Important note: If you are
running a 64 Bit OS [You can tell by seeing if you have two Program Files folders,
a normal one, and one with (x86) at the end], place the contents of the CBLoader in
the x86 folder)
-Go to: My Computer OR Computer/C Drive/Program Files OR Program Files
(x86)/Wizards of the Coast/Character Builder
-Paste the contents of the CBLoader folder here. (If this is not the first time you
are installing this, delete the Custom folder already present)
-Run the CbLoader Application.
-Let it download the updates to the files it finds.
-Wait for it to merge all the files.
-Sometimes, the Loader will launch the actual Builder program while Merging. This
may cause the merged data to not show up. To fix it, just turn off the Builder and
restart the Loader.
-Enjoy.

Special bonus:

There is an icon for the Loader if you make a shortcut on your Desktop.
Steps:
Right click on the CbLoader application you run, and select Send to-Desktop
Go to the Shortcut on your Desktop, right click, and go to Properties, you should
be on the Shortcut tab
At the the bottom of the Tab, you should see a button called "Change Icon..." Click
it
A window will pop up, click "Browse" and find where you downloaded the Update
Click on the Icon in that folder, and click open, then hit Ok
You're done!

Note: If you are experiencing issues, there is some fixes that you could try. If
you are running UAC (User Account Control) in any fashion, this may cause issues.
It's recommended you turn it off while installing the Loader. You can find the
option for turning off UAC by searching for UAC in the Start Menu. Another issue is
attempting to run the CBLoader without copying it into the Character Builder
folder. Make sure you do this, this is a crucial step. Lastly, if it's still giving
you problems, try running it as an Admin. To run it as an Admin, right click on the
program, and click "run as administrator". If all this fails, contact a DM, and he
or she should be able to get you sorted out.
