Chester created a poster on Philippine history that included important places, events, figures, and cultural aspects. Pictures on the poster showed Malacañang Palace, the residence of Emilio Aguinaldo, Boracay beach, Quiapo Church, Banaue Rice Terraces, the Underground River, Vigan historic homes, and Chocolate Hills. The importance of studying Philippine history poster making for mine is, I create
and input some pictures that connect the theme of history in the Philippines like historical
places in the Philippines like Malacañang palace which is the place where presidents of
the Philippines living. The house or in the residence of first president of the Philippines
Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite where the flag of the Philippines was waved as the
Marcha Nacional Filipina played. The famous beach in the Philippines which is Boracay
that is now cleaned by the government.
The Quiapo church which is popular churches in manila the capital city of the
Philippines because half of populations in the Philippines are mostly catholic so in quiapo
every January there’s a ceremony about that and where are devotees gather to pray. I
also put a picture of Banaue rice terraces in Ifugao and the Underground river in Puerto
princesa Palawan because these 2 places are famous and part of 7 wonders in the world.
I put also the Vigan city or the historical house in Vigan city because it was known for its
preserved Spanish colonial and Asian architecture. The chocolate hills in Bohol because
it was so beautiful and also famous from the tourist in every hill on that or every forest
in Bohol there’s a Tarsier animal that is small but have big eyes.
In the upper right of picture, I put an KKK from Andre Bonifacio for the freedom
of Filipino from Spanish I also include the picture’s in the war of Japanese to Philippines,
America to Philippines and Spanish to Philippines and the Magellan between Lapu-Lapu
in Cebu city. I also put a picture of traditional clothes in the Philippines which is barong
for the boys and filipianiana in the girls, and jeepney for daily transportations and easiest
transportation in the Philippines. I also put the picture of Edsa Revolution because it was
part of the history in the Philippines and also, I input the pictures of monuments of our
national heroes in the Philippines like Luneta park for Dr. Jose Rizal in manila which is
most visited place here and Monumento for Bonifacio and Lapu-Lapu in Mactan, Cebu. I
also put some examples of festivals in the Philippines.
Lastly in the center of my poster making I put an picture of all heroes in the
Philippines, they are the ones who contribute a big part of our freedom until now without
them we are not free from the countries who wants to get us and without them there are
no holidays in our calendar, so with this poster making I learned a lot to appreciate our
history and where they become because they sacrifice there self for the peace of our
country without we are not now here.
