Lesson Plan in Technology Livelihood Education (DRAFTING)

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of one (1) hour lesson, 100% of the class are expected to have at least 80% level mastery in:

- Identify the basic materials used in drafting

- Differentiate the differences of use of materials in drafting

IV. TEACHING/LEARNING PROCEDURE

B. Motivation

The teacher will asked the students to imagine their selves 10 years from now. the teacher will
then let the students draw what they think they'll be doing 10 years from now.

C.Introduction

The teacher will asked the students what did they used in drawing.

D.Presentation

The teacher will show each basic materials in drafting. The teacher will then explain the use of
each materials. the teacher will also show them some materials.

Drawing Paper - a material used for drawing or this is were we can see the result of what we draw or
sketch.

Tracing Paper - this is a thin transparent paper on which inked or penciled drawing is made for
reproductions in blueprint or white print.
Drawing Pencil - this is manufactured in various grades ranging from SOFT (B) to HARD (H).

Mechanical Drawing Pencil - this is a type of drawing pencil that does not require sharpening. this comes
in a case and with replaceable lead
Technical Pen - Precision inking tools that come with points varying thickness from 0.10 to 2.0mm. it is
used to have a permanent drawing, lines or sketches.

Eraser - A HARD RUBBER ERASER is used to remove dark heavy lines. A SOFT RUBBER ERASER is used to
erase light lines and to clean smudges.

G. Application

The teacher will group the students. Each group they will identify and discuss In front the
materials that assigned to them.

V. Evaluation

1-4. give at least 4 materials in drafting

5. It is a thin transparent paper


6. Is used to remove dark heavy lines

7. What type of drawing pencil that does not require sharpening

8-10. Write at least 1 materials in drafting and discuss on how to used it.

VI. ASSIGNMENT

Draw a city and used at least 3 to 5 tools in drafting. Used Short bond paper.
