Dear Ma’am and Sir,

I am writing this letter to excuse my absence between all the class I have failed to attend today
(September 12, 2019).

Earlier this week I had a small scar on my left leg which remained untreated in the following
days due to underestimation on its size. The scar quickly developed into a boil which caused
continuous fever and disturbance in walking. My parents have decided to consult a doctor before
the infection gets worse. My visit to the hospital today will mainly be the reason of my absence
in class. I am willing to accept the consequences of my absence in terms of the activities/quiz I
missed, but if I am willing to make up and take a special test if I’m given the chance to.
