Cotour PLATES
This 18-page section profiles many of the aircraft
flown by the elite pilots of the US Navy, US Marine
Corps and the Fleet Air Arm, Also included ate
notable machines that are representative of the
Corsair’s all-important, but often ignored, ground
attack mission. All the areworks have been specially
commissioned for this volume, and profile artists
John Weal and Mark Styling, plus figure artist Mike
Chappell, have gone to great pains to illustrate the
aircraft, and theie pilots, as accurately a possible fol-
lowing much in-depth research, Aces’ machines that
have never previously been illuscrated are featured
alongside acccurate renditions of the more famous
Corsairs from World War 2.
