B. REVIEW

 Teacher asks students to have a recap on yesterday’s topic. Recitation points will be
given and recorded in their recitation log.

C. ACTIVITY

 Have the learners watch the 2-minute video clip about the National Living Treasures
Award: Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan.
D. ANALYSIS

 Ask the learners the following guide questions:


1. What have you observed in the video?
2. How will you describe those artists and artworks that are shown in the video?
3. Do you know someone who’s like the artists in the video within our region? Do you
think they also deserve to receive this kind of award in the future? Why?

E. ABSTRACTION

 Relate the learners’ answers to the characteristics of a GaMaBa Awardee.


 Discuss the National Living Treasures or the Gawad ng Manlilikha ng Bayan using a
PowerPoint presentation.
 Emphasize to the learners the guidelines and qualifications in identifying and
recognizing a person as a Manlilikha ng Bayan in the field of folk epic literature, music,
textile and mat weaving, dance, metal work, and casque production.
 Let the students complete the sentence below:

regions. Your design will be evaluated according to creativity and application of the theme.
