Dear Sir/Madam,

The need for a more exciting teaching job and a promising career has compelled me to
apply in this school. In line with my desire to work, allow me to state in this letter my
educational background and job experience.

My name is Mariline Marcelino-Lee. I have been working as an ESL teacher for more
than 20 years and have experienced working as an ESL Trainer at one of the most
reputable college in the Philippines , the Miriam College .

I finished Bachelor of Laws at Far Eastern University and just recently took the bar
examination. Prior to my graduate schooling, I also finished Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy at Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 1996. Right after I
gained my TESOL certification, I took my Professional Teaching Certification at the
University of the Philippines. I have worked with different offices and schools where I
practiced my profession and gained proficiency in teaching and computer works.

Together, I believe my educational background and training experience makes me well-


equipped for the position I am applying for. I have attached my resume highlighting my
academic and professional skills and I am looking forward to hearing from you in due
