He seems to have measles

It’s a busy day for Nurse Anna. There are several patients coming to the doctor’s clinic. She
and her partner should interview the patients first before they meet the doctor.
Nurse Anna : How long has your son got fever?
Mother : It started 3 days ago.
Nurse Anna : Oooh.... is there any cough or flu?
Mother : No, it is not, but he feels cold.
Nurse Elly : I see. What do you feel, boy?
The Boy : I feel cold and terrible, Nurse.
Nurse Anna : Ok, ma’am. I’d like to measure your son’s temperature first.
Mother : Yes, please
Nurse Anna : Excuse me, Boy. I want to insert this thermometer in your armpit.
The Boy : Yes, Nurse
Several minute later
Nurse Anna : Ok, finish. I see your temperature wa quiet high.
The Boy : How is my temperature, Nurse?
Nurse Anna : It’s 38,90 Celsius. Let’s see.. Open your mouth please. Thank you. Nurse
Elly, please give me the sphygmomanometer
Nurse Elly : Here you are, Nurse
Nurse Anna : Thank you. Now, I’d like to check your blood pressure. Excuse me. I want to
roll the tourniquet around your upper arm.
Several minute later
Nurse Anna : Ok, your blood pressure is normal, it’s 110 per 80
Nurse Elly : Hei, Look at this, What is this? It’s reddish on your arm
Nurse Anna : You’re right. I also see it on his chest
Mother : What does it mean, Nurse?
Nurse Elly : He seems to have measles, Ma’am but the doctor will check him first. Just
wait the doctor.
Mother : Thank you, Nurse

Nurse Neri does her duty in medical surgical ward. She examines her patient politely. She is
checking her patient’s vital sign now.
Nurse Neri : Hello, good morning Ms. Kumala
Ms. Kumala : Morning, Nurse
Nurse Neri : Let me introduce myself, I am Nurse Neri.
How are you today?
Ms. Kumala : I’m not feeling well, Nurse
Nurse Neri : I see... Let me check your temperature and others, is it okay? And oh, this is
my friend, Nurse Citra
Ms. Kumala : Yes, please nurse
Nurse Citra come and join the conversation
Nurse Citra : Good morning Ma’am. I am Nurse Citra, I’ll help Nurse Neri to check your
vital sign. Please put this thermometer in your armpit
Ms. Kumala : Sure
Several minute later
Nurse Citra : Ok, finish. Please give the thermometer to me, Ma’am
Ms. Kumala : Here you are, Nurse
Nurse Citra : Thank you. Let me see it, your temperature is 38,50 Celsius Ma’am.
Nurse Citra wrote the result on Ms. Kumala status
Nurse Neri : Now, I want to know your blood pressure. Please roll up your sleeve. I want
to roll around the tourniquet on your upper arm.
Ms. Kumala : Sure, Nurse
Several minute later
Nurse Neri : Ok, finish
Ms. Kumala : How is my blood pressure, Nurse?
Nurse Neri : It is 160 per 120
Ms. Kumala : Is that fine for me?
Nurse Neri : I am sorry. It’s high, but please don’t worry. I will observe your blood
pressure 2 hours ahead. And also report to the doctor. He will recommend you something
Ms. Kumala : Thank you, Nurse
