This story is about a boy named Aladdin who finds a magic lamp containing a genie. Aladdin lives with his mother and one day is approached by a stranger claiming to be his uncle. The stranger takes Aladdin to a field and has him retrieve dry twigs to start a fire. Thunder is heard and a stone door in the ground is revealed, leading to a cave. The stranger gives Aladdin a magic ring and sends him into the cave to find an old lamp. When Aladdin refuses to give the lamp to the stranger, the stone door closes, trapping Aladdin inside until he uses the ring to summon the genie from the lamp.
