Setup Procedure

Configuring Wireless Client Mode on DAP-1360


Step 1: Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
On the address bar of the web browser type in there the IP Address of the DAP-
1360 http://192.168.0.50 and then Enter key on your keyboard.

*** Note: For you to check the IP Address of the camera. Please do check set-up procedure on how to check
the camera’s IP Address.

Step 2: After typing the IP Address on the address bar of the browser, a
username and a password will appear. In default settings the username is
“admin” and then leave the password field blank, then click on Log-in button.

Step 2: Click on the Setup tab on top and then click on the Wireless Setup on the
Left Hand Side. The Wireless Configuration page will appear.
Step 3: Under the Wireless Network Settings Section. Select Wireless Client
under the drop down box of Wireless Mode then click on the Site Survey button
to scan the list of the available wireless networks.

Step 4: Select the radio button where on the name of your wireless network then
click on the Connect button.

*** Note: If you are not sure of the name of your wireless network please refer to your
router manufacturer.
Step 5: Select the type of Security Mode used on your router under the Security
Mode.

*** Note: If you are not sure of the type of security please refer to your router
manufacturer.

FOR WEP Enabled router


Step 6: Configure the following settings
Authentication: Open/Shared
WEP Encryption: 64Bit/128Bit
Key Type: Ascii/Hex
Default WEP Key: WEP Key 1 to WEP Key 4
WEP key: Password for the wireless network

*** Note: If you are not sure of these settings please refer to your router manufacturer.
FOR WPA/WPA2 Enabled router
Step 6: Configure the following settings
Cipher Type: TKIP/AES
PSK/EAP: Personal/Enterprise
Passphrase: Password for the wireless network
Confirmed Passphrase: Re-type the password for the wireless network

*** Note: If you are not sure of these settings please refer to your router manufacturer.
