I. Objectives
At the end of the 50-minute lesson, the learners should be able to:
 Identify the different types of measuring tools use in technical drafting,
 Demonstrate the function and purpose of the following measuring tools,
 State the benefits of skills use in operating the different kind of measuring
tools.

Materials: Chalk, Ruler, T-Square, Tape Ruler, Triangle, Protractor, Scale.

Safety Precaution
1. Be careful when using the measuring tools and be accurate in
measuring things.

2. Application
Measure the width, height and thickness of your desk using the available
measuring tools.

3. Generalization
1. What do you think is the importance of having the knowledge in
operating the different measuring tools?
2. Why is it important to be accurate in measuring things?
3. Why is it needed to use the proper tools in a certain scenario?
