G4S Firmware Update Tutorial

If you are G4 users that have no dongles on your gamepad, please ignore #3.

Firmware Update Tutorial

1. Decompress everything in your computer, open “update tools 107”, double click updatetools.exe (see
below)

2. a) Click “1”, choose “2.16 Firmware G4””2.16 Firmware””Gamepad””DN2502U_User.bin”

b) Plug the cable in your computer, then hold L1 on your gamepad, don’t let go of it until you plug in
the other end of cable to the gamepad. At this time, the home key of the gamepad will show constant
white light.

c) Click “2”, and after finish updating the gamepad will reboot.

d) Unplug the cable at the gamepad’s end, hold L1 again and repeat b)

e) Click “1”, choose “gamepad_dn2405u.bin”, then click “2” and wait for the gamepad to reboot

f) After rebooting, unplug the cable.

3. Plug the 2.4G dongle of the gamepad in your computer. Click “1”open “update tools
107”“dongle””dongle_dn2405u.bin”click “2”. After updating, unplug the dongle.
Tutorial of Calibration

Please try to calibrate the gamepad after the upgrading. Here are the steps.

1. Press the left button of D-pad, down button of D-pad and Home button at the same time.

2. Rotate the left joystick three times, then rotate the right joystick three times.

3. Press the L2 trigger three times, then press the R2 trigger three times.

4. Press A button to save and exit the calibration.
