Tenor Trombone Construction

The document describes a novel tenor trombone construction that allows the trombone to be played as both a standard slide trombone and a piston valve trombone. The trombone includes three piston valves positioned near the mouthpiece that can be manipulated by either hand, as well as a slide member that can be manipulated by the other hand, without requiring the player to remove either hand from its normal playing position. This design extends the trombone's musical range by allowing the slide and valves to be used simultaneously.
