1. COMMISSIONING DEFINITION

A new facility must operate as it was designed

Any new facility is considered incomplete until it has been successfully

commissioned and is operating satisfactorily. Programme of testing,
inspection and commissioning will ensure:

Compliance with schedule

Managing your commissioning can help meet your project targets and
minimise any potential problems during the crucial implementation stage or
once the facility is operational

Quality

Ensuring installation of the facility is completed to high standards so it

works first time, every time

Health and safety

Setting procedures and processes to ensure that commissioning is

undertaken safely

Statutory and regulatory compliance

Validation gives you assurance that your facility has been specified,
designed, installed, commissioned and is operating to standards acceptable to
your requirements and any inspecting authorities.

We can verify facilities through the planning, supervision and

implementation of commissioning activity, including:

 Preparing and cleaning of systems ready for testing

 Initial testing of systems with power, water and air
 Verifying control systems
 Start up of equipment
 Verifying the whole operational process against performance targets.
