A GAME FOR EVERYONE

As a Filipino and as a member of a country were we born and started our life as an adult it is
very essential to us to become aware for the current event that was happening or should I say
happened in our country or even in our locality, it's not because we are "chismosa" or
chismoso" but because we are part of this country, it's is our obligation to know everything
especially because we live in a democratic country, we always need to open our eye and started
to participate in every battle,in every issue,and in every events our country is facing. "Maging
alerto"that's what we need and must need as a citizen of the Philippines.

And one of the current event that get my enterest happened on July 26-28,2019 ,one of the
events that make me realize that we really need to open our eyes and mind bacuse we don't
know behind those thing. We need to strive to know the truth,and we should not be attracted
to money or to anything that they can give us,instead know more but in a good way.

"I said all gaming activities, gambling, that got their franchise from government
through PCSO are, as of today, suspended or terminated because of massive
corruption,' the President says in a televised message"
July 26, 2019 President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered a halt in all gaming operations with
franchises, licenses or permits granted by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO),
citing corruption.

July 27, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has began shutting down lotto kiosks and other
gaming outlets nationwide, after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the suspension of gaming
schemes authorized by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

On July 30, President Rodrigo Duterte lifts the suspension of operations of lotto game.On
August 22, President Rodrigo Duterte lifts the suspension on the operations of Small Town
Lottery (STL) in the country. On September 28, President Rodrigo Duterte lifts the suspension on
the operations of Keno Game and Instant Sweepstakes Scratch-It schemes.

We all know that Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) is a government-owned and
controlled corporation of the Philippines under direct supervision of the Office of the President
of the Philippines. It is mandated to do fund raising and provide funds for health programs,
medical assistance and services, and charities of national character. The raised collections goes
to the President's Presidential Social Fund to improve the country's social welfare. It's a great
help for us Filipino to have this organization but we don't even noticed that the rich became
richer and the poor remain or worse they also suffer because we are bieng blind for everything.

Thats why this events really captured my enterest. Because I cannot think or I really don't have
guts that this is what really happened inside that organization. PCSO is a great name for
me,because as I know they provide free services for the Filipino especially when it comes to
health or medical field. I am fun of lottery and I cannot even think that corruption is present in
this organization. For me the significance of this event are as follows:

1. Corruption has been ended in this organization

✓ And yes, biggest achievement of the government is to stop corruption, when this issues
arises everyone know the truth, spoon feeding has been ended for those who are involve in this
case, the person who are stealing millions of funds or money has already been punished.

2. The person who are guilty has been punished.

3.It serve as a lesson to all Filipino

4.we are saved by those people who are bieng abbusive when it comes to money

5. The organization learned and started to raise again but with integrity and transparency of
thier every game.

In conclusion, its very good and very helpful if we know something like this especially when we
erased the wrong system of those organization that are abbusive to the power imposed to
them, as what president Rodrigo said "I have to do it. I will not honor transactions that are
clearly on the side of, you know, scheming people, the Republic of the Philippines, of the money
due it. Puro dayaan lahat (It's all cheating). At 'yung mga kontrata ay parang (And the contracts
seem to be) crafted in favor of corruption and to favor other corporations and people. I will not
allow it," .

Cause we need to eradicate unheathy people or leader or any person who have power to rule
and above ordinary Filipino citezin. It's not because we are in the higher position , it's not
because we have power over other we are going to abbuse it, we need to be fair, we need to be
in the level of many. This issue or should I say this event happened really prove that our country
our government rather is not that clean as we thought.

But like this event, important event help us to start a new and healthy countrt, great help to
those who really in need, helpful to every single person in our country.
 And now, as we have seen PCSO already know their lesson, their
games don't end,they still continue to roll the ball again but with a
change, it's not like usual game before, but it's a game for all Filipino,
no cheating,no corruption,no stealing anymore.

More money they receive more helping hands they give to those
unfurtunate people,no more gumbling anymore but a happy and
helpful game for everyone.
