Aircraft Structures 1 Exercises (With Solutions)

This document contains examples of calculating unknown reactions in structural analysis problems. Several examples are provided of determining support reactions for beams under different loading conditions by taking moments and summing forces. Additional examples calculate wing and tail loads on an aircraft during normal and turning flight, as well as landing gear loads during braking. Frame structures are also analyzed to find unknown forces. All examples involve the application of the principles of statics, namely taking moments, summing forces in different directions, and using trigonometric relationships between forces.
