Narrative Report For Environmental Awareness: Office OF THE National Service Training Program

The document summarizes two narrative reports from environmental awareness events held at Bataan Peninsula State University. The first event discussed how human activities like deforestation and waste mismanagement are damaging the environment and discussed the need for weekly community cleanups and tree planting initiatives. The second event summarized the International Coastal Cleanup program and noted that while successful for introducing students to cleanliness, longer term involvement of local communities is needed to continuously maintain clean coastal areas.

NARRATIVE REPORT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

September 14, 2019 │BPSU Main Campus Sari Gamit Covered Court

The topic of the discussion is about Environmental Awareness. The main point of
the discussion is to point out how much unaware some of us about the state our
environment is in. The topic points out how human activities like deforestation,
overpopulation and wrong waste management causes severe damage to the environment
which results to major consequences like global warming.

The speaker spook true words that can open eyes of some people. I agree with
the speaker about the state of our environment and the action we need to do to save our
environment. She said the truth that our environment is going for the worse and we need
to take action in order to preserve the beauty of nature.

A weekly cleaning should be implemented in the school and/or in barangays.

Weekly cleaning can help a lot in making the environment clean. There should also be
tree planting programs to help keep the nature still as green as it is. People should also
be aware that a little piece of candy wrapper can already contribute greatly in destroying
the environment.

NARRATIVE REPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL COASTAL

CLEAN-UP 2019
September 21, 2019 │Palihan, Orani, Bataan

The International Coastal Clean up program aims to help clean coastal areas in
Bataan. The program aims to advocate cleanliness in our coastal areas like beaches and
lakes. The program shows how important our coastal areas are.

The program is mostly successful as a way to introduce cleanliness to the students.

Though it is good as introduction of cleanliness, it doesn’t help much in maintaining
cleanliness in our coastal areas. The cleanliness of our coastal areas still depends on the
people who lives near it. A program involving the citizen near the coastal area is much
more needed.

As a student, advocating environmental cleanliness is a big help. Letting other

people know the importance of cleaning our coastal areas is a must but you must also do
the things you say. Going to cleaning programs when you have free time is also a good
way to help our environment
