Annex ‘B’

STUDENT STUDY LOAN AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT is made at Islamabad/Karachi/Lahore on _ day of _____________

201__.

BETWEEN

i) BAHRIA UNIVERSITY, here in referred to as “BU”, E-8, Shangrila Road, Islamabad of First Part;

AND

ii) Mr./Ms _ , CNIC # _,

S/D/o, __________________________ resident of ______________________________, and
student of Bahria University (BU), hereinafter referred to as the "Student" of Second Part;

WHEREAS the Student has requested BU for Student Study Loan for educational purpose and BU
has already provided/agreed to provide the requested amount on the terms and conditions
mentioned below;

NOW, THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS UNDER:

1. That at the request of, and in consideration of the covenants of the Student mentioned
hereinafter, BU hereby agrees to give a Student Study Loan amounting Rs.
_________________ /- (Rupees _____________________________) only.

2. No part of the Students Study Loan paid by BU shall be expended by the Student for any
purpose other than for which the Students Study Loan has been approved and granted.

3. On the happening of any one or more of the following events, the entire amount outstanding
shall become immediately repayable on demand, by the Student.

i) If the Student has made any misrepresentation either herein or in his/her

application;

ii) If events happen which make it likely in the opinion of the BU that the Student shall
not be able to pay the loan outstanding on their respective due dates.

iii) If the student falling below Merit standards or disciplinary standards of BU.

4. That the Student hereby undertakes to perform all the obligations mentioned herein and the
repayment of the Student Study Loan and on their due date.

5. Bahria University will hold the degree of the Student as collateral until the student produces
a clearance certificate from BU Account Section as to the final settlement of the Loan given.
Without provisioning of Clearance Certificate, a student will be bound for no claim of degree.

6. If student remain defaulter for Student Study Loan, his/her guarantor (Parents / Spouse) will
be liable to payback the total balance amount of Loan drawn by the Student.

7. That all the terms and conditions contained in the application made by the Student and of
Student Study Loan Policy shall form part of this agreement.

8. That any subsequent changes to the principal amount of Student Study Loan and/or monthly
repayments may be made here to, subject to the mutual consent of the parties.

SCHEDULE

REPAYMENT SCHEDULE

This Student Study Loan will be repaid by the Student @ Rs. _______ (Rupees ___________) only,
per month on a continuous basis till his/her completion of studies from BU.

The monthly repayment must be made in the Account Section of Bahria University Campuses
(Islamabad, Karachi or Lahore. Copy of the Deposit slip must be sent either by hand, emailed or by
post/courier to the Office of Students Affairs.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have set and subscribed their hands on the day and the
year first above mentioned.
