V. METHODOLOGY
A. Preparation
• Group students into five members each, and they will identify pictures of Philippine
dishes. To introduce the concept paper food in nature.
Then, use them as springboards for discussing the three ways of explaining a concept paper:
Definition, Explication, and Clarification. This may be done either by simply jotting down ideas for the
concept paper or facilitating a buzz group discussion wherein each group is assigned a theme, and the
members of the group have to generate topics in relation to their given theme.
B. Motivation
• Divide the class into four groups. Ask the first group to come up with a definition of a
phenomenon or idea, the second to make an explication of the article , and the third to present a
clarification of a concept.
C. Lesson Proper
• Discuss the format in writing an art or business concept papers and also the things
that they need to consider in writing such kinds.Following the subject verb agreement and rubrics.

Actively perform the indicated skill in writing concept paper.

Tell students to go to the library, search the Internet, or do a simple field research to add substance to
the content of their concept papers. Topics are popular dishes from regional areas.

Output The students have to come up with a documented (with citations and bibliography) concept
paper consisting of six to eight pages of A4 or short bond paper, double spaced.
Ideally, the paper has to be computerized or typewritten.
The teacher can give consideration to students who do not have access to a computer or a typewriter. It
can be written using a clean bond paper and semi cursive writing .
G. Evaluation
• The teacher will group students by pair. Each pair will brainstorm regarding the topic of the
concept paper they will write on.
• To evaluate the concept paper, the criteria below will be used.
