Welcome to Macaw New-Gen School!!!

School was started in the year 2015, located at plot no: 35, Suryagandi
street, Sabarinagar ext, Medavakkam, Chennai – 600 100

At Macaw New-Gen School, each kid is unique. Not only, we develop kids
in intelligences like mathematical and logical, we also develop them in
Interpersonal, Bodily Kinesthetic, Linguistic, Intra-Personal, Natural,
Spatial, and Musical.

Teaching Methods adopted in Macaw New-Gen School are Participation,


Demonstration, Recitation, Memorization or Combinations of these.

We have classes from Playgroup, Nursery, Junior Kg, and Senior Kg.

Infrastructure,

About Infrastructure, we have a spacious classroom with proper air and


light ventilation and A/c, high safety for kids, audio-visual hall,
playground for kids with outdoor toys, the whole school building is
monitored by CCTV Camera.

Teachers: Experienced and Montessori trained teachers.

Curriculum:

Toddler & Pre-KG: Play-way method

LKG & UKG: CBSE


For Nursery and Kindergarten, it is an early childhood program in
which children combine learning with play way method, trained by
professional Facilitators. This nurturing environment provides the
structure that allows the students to grow and learn while feeling safe
and comfortable. Students are given opportunities to explore and learn
through age appropriate toys and projects. Children in the Toddler
Classroom are encouraged to express their needs. The activities in the
Toddler Classroom are developed to create learning experiences and
social experiences through materials, projects, and activities.

Hygienic Factors

 To maintain cleanliness and good hygienic standards, regular


checking on children nails and hair will be conducted on every
Monday. Nails should be cut regularly and hair should be combed
properly.
 Washing hands is the most important and the most basic hygienic
action that we teach our kids here. We make him or her wash
hands many times during the day. We make sure that your child
washes his hands after using the toilet and before eating anything.

We also focus on manners and behavior during early childhood, which is


the most important core values in life. We teach them where to use

We strongly believe that the communication between teachers and kids


is the key for their development, so we ensure each kid is interacted &
communicated well according to their language and methods, where kids
are comfortable.

Play group communication will be in their mother tongue for the first
term.

Nursery Communication will be in both English and in their mother


tongue, so that kids can easily follow their teachers.

Junior and Senior Kg and primary classes Communication will be in


English.

Activities:

We also provide equal importance to extracurricular activities like


sports, physical education, self-development, etc.

We conduct sports day, Fancy Dress Competition, Coloring Competition.

Exercise: We do teach exercise for the kids and we strongly believe


that physical fitness is the key for the kids to handle physical and
emotional challenges.

Meditation: Meditation is designed for the kids for their better


concentration and mind development. Kids close their eyes and listen to
the “Om music”
Project day:

Wee’s Science Expo is conducted at school related to academics and


kept as an exhibition for the parents to visualize and kids explain their
project.

Gleam Day:

Is conducted at school where kids will be exhibiting their performance


in academics in presence of audience to overcome the stage fear.

Rhyming session:

We do have a rhyming session where all kids enjoy the rhymes run
through video.

Field Trip: Kids are taken to field trip once in a year.

School Annual Day is conducted once in a year which compromises of


Awards and recognition, talent shows

Each and every kids are trained to perform in cultural activities to show
their talents.

Group Activities:

Group activities are also a part of academics where kids learn in a


practical way.

Events and Celebrations:

Events and Celebrations have been conducted at school to make the


kids understand the importance of festivals and culture.
Kids and parent activities are also a part of the event celebration.

Birthday events for kids are celebrated every month. Cake and gift
distribution are part of birthday celebration. This kind of special caring
makes the kids to get attached to their friends, teachers and
caretakers.

Parents Teacher Meet (PTM) is conducted at the end of each term, to


get to know about their kids performance at school.

Communication between management and the parent is done through


Mobile app for effective communication and also through traditional
method way of writing in diary.

School Kit

The kit comprises a uniform, bag, books, diary, fitness card and
development report card & an escort card.

Identification Card is given to each kid and kid has to bring the ID card
every day to school.

Transport is available for the kids for pick up and drop.

Class Ratio: Each class will have 10 kids with a teacher and a helping
staff. Individual attention will be given to each kid.

Children will be potty trained at the school and will be taken to the rest
rooms at regular intervals by the care takers
Library Books

Parents can make use of the books as it may prove to be an effective


tool in enhancing your child’s creativity and communication levels.

“A” type villa will be dedicated for Pre-School, Day Care and for After
School activities.

The Pre-School at Villa will be designed with full safety for kids and
along with Hygiene aspects.

 A good ambience will be provided for the kids

 Indoor Toys.
 Other generic infrastructure specific to the kid’s needs….table,
chair, shoe rack, playing mat, scribbling boards, pin boards etc.,

of Day Care.
 Home food for kids on need basis for day care.
