ff362416-cb46-4f86-90d0-8ad2fd391efdQues1- Describe the use of all the color models used while designing

an artifact in Graphics Tools like GIMP. [20]

RGB- This model includes red, green and blue light in different blends to recreate a wide range of hues. The main
role of the RGB shading model is for the presentation of pictures in electronic frameworks, for example, on TV
screens and PC screens. To make new color with RGB, three colors (red, green, and blue) must be superimposed. If
there is no shade of any of these colors we get black and when all are added we give white. For WebPages these
days RGB is used to produce different shades.

CMYK- It contains four-colors. The 4 colors are- cyan, magenta, yellow and black. It masks colors (completely or
partially) on white background. Black is utilized on the grounds that the mix of the three essential hues (CMY)
doesn't deliver a completely immersed dark. We get cyan using blue and green and no red; Magenta is obtained
using- red and blue and no green and yellow is produced using red and green and no blue and when all of them
mixes we get black. This model works on mixing colors of RGB model.

HSV – It represents hue, saturation and value, shows three-dimensional shading. HSV tries to portray connections
among colors and enhance the RGB shading model. On the off chance that you consider HSV as a wheel, the center
goes from white at the top to black at the base, with other colors in the middle. It is also known as HSB (hue,
saturation and brightness) model. Hue means color. It is basically an angle from 0 to 360 degree. The range of
angle shoes different shades of color like- 0 to 60 means red, 60 to 120 is shades of yellow etc. Saturation shows
the shades of grey in percentage range (0 to 100%). It is also sometimes represented in range from 0to 1. 0 means
grey color and 1 means primary color. If we have low saturation means we have more amount of grey color
present in it. It is used to create good computer graphics as here we have color wheel and from that we can easily
choose different shades according to needs.

HSL - HSL, as HSV, is a 3-D portrayal of shading. HSL represents hue, saturation and lightness. Hue means color
(Just like in HSV). Saturation is purity of color like HSV and lightness is calculated in terms of percentage where 0%
is black and 100% is white.

COLOR MODELS IN GIMP-

RGB: It is the one that GIMP supports best compared to all. It is made up of 3 colors which can vary from 0 to 255
i.e. 256 shades. This in total makes 16.7 different shades. File formats supported: XCF, PNG.

Grayscale: The grayscale mode utilizes one channel to show a grey picture. GIMP uses grayscale well. Supported
formats: XCF, PNG, TGA, TIFF.

Indexed: Here, the picture comprise of pixels lifted from a palette of up to 256 hues. At the point when you
convert a picture into this mode, or when you are lessening the color of a picture, there are choices that give you
authority over how hues are dissipated. File formats: XCF, PNG, GIF.

Monochrome: Two hues (black and white). GIMP considers this to be an indexed picture with just 2 hues. File
formats: XCF, PNG, and GIF.

Ques2- Explain the usage of typography in expressing any information through text media. [20]

Typography refers to the designing and selection of appropriate letters and then put them together to form a
structure to be sorted out into .The process includes choosing font-family, font-size, line height, line-spacing, font-
weight and changing the space between sets of letters.
It is the specialty of putting letters together in such a way that makes your thinking easy understand able to the
reader and he or she gets easily attracted to it. Typography includes textual style, appearance through which we
convey certain feelings and pass on explicit messages.

Typography is tying up of content with your design of the webpage or app, so as to give attractive content in the
end. In other words, it basically enhances your website or app and brings your mindset in front of others in eye
catching way. It ensures that your content has best user experience.

Importance- Typography is far beyond simply picking wonderful text styles. It is an essential part of UI plan. Great
typography will give a name to your brand and moreover a huge number of viewers. Through typography creator
should be able to convey and guide users about the product and organization; make sure that it easy to read and
access the facilities provided.

It delivers emotions- let us assume that there is an advertisement of PC game. It may contain some energizing
highlights of the game. In such case, you should convey about the features in a fun way, lively and stylish. In the
event that your organization is launching any product that is about some awareness or there is some serious
product you ought to pick textual styles that are basic, plain and convey your message in a professional manner.
The decision of such typeface decides how the information is comprehended.

Give your brand an identity- Not just it improves the UI, your clients start to make judgment about your brand on
the basis of styles highlighted on your site. Interesting, reliable typography will assist you with setting up a solid
client following, form trust between you, your client and users, and help to convey your brand forward.

Typography impacts basic leadership- Typography profoundly affects the manner in which clients see the data
passed on by the content and then make image about your brand in the mind. Attractive styles are more powerful
than feeble textual styles.

Ques3- Elucidate all the steps used while modeling any character using animation tools like Blender [30]

1. First, visit https://www.blender.org/download/ (official website) and then choose the version according
to your OS. Blender is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and GNU/Linux distributions.

2. In the next step install and launch the latest version of blender.

3. On right side top there are coordinates which can be used to see figure from all three positions(x, y and z).

4. Navigation- Windows: To see figure from all sides, hold middle mouse button and then move using it. If
there is no mouse then you can also rotate using coordinates present on right top. Simply put mouse on
the coordinate and rotate it. We can easily zoom in and out using middle mouse wheel and in case of no
mouse there is magnifying glass symbol along with coordinates simply put button on it and drag laptop
mouse in and out. We can rotate using numpad arrow keys to rotate between coordinates.

5. We can get to front view of object using shortcut key 1 on keyboard. We can also move light and camera
according to the need and even we can make object, light and camera to become invisible by going right
side and over there in scene collection we can click on eye symbol beside name to toggle between hide
and show. We can hide or show whole collection by performing same task on collection heading.

6. If there are any pre-loaded objects in the scene you can delete it by selecting it and pressing X or DEL and
confirming deletion. By default we get cube mesh.
7. Under the Add menu select Mesh, and then choose any required figure. Then you should add it. Click on it
to add it.

8. Click on Object Mode or Edit Mode using Tab key or Object Mode menu bar. You can manipulate the
mesh while you are in Edit mode. In edit mode we get toolbox where we have many tools like for scaling,
extruding, selecting (for selecting whole figure we can drag on it) etc.

9. Press “S” (a shortcut for “scale”) and adjust the face. Press “E” or extrude region on left side to adjust the
height. There are many other features like- move, transform, rotate, loop cut (shortcutctrl-R and adjust
loop cut’s position), press Shift + D to duplicate, Ctrl-z to undo any step etc.

10. Add some color before you go. On the right side of the screen you should see an area with a collection of
icons in a bar. Click on the circular icon which is the Material tab. There you can choose base color
according to you in render mode to see the effect. There are different preview modes like- wireframe
(shows mesh in wireframe mode where we get internal of the mesh- displays object as wire edges), solid
(display in solid mode), Look Dev (displays color and internal of mesh) and rendered.

11. Using animation tab we can add animation with 24fps by default. By default we work in layout.

12. Click on Object mode to see final result.

Ques-4 Mention all the points while designing a logo of a company and its usage at various places as different
forms of images in any Mobile App as well as a Web Page for maximum impact over the users/ viewers. [30]

Logo Design-
Step 1: Create a new image of appropriate size for your logo: File  New. With options for you to specify the
dimensions you want. After you are done click on “OK” to create the new image.
Step 2: Click on the foreground color in the Color area to bring up the “Change Foreground Color” dialog. The
“Change Foreground Color” dialog allows you to now set the foreground color.
Step 3: We can now use the Text Tool to add some text to our image: Tools → Text
Step4: We can now draw a box on our canvas (image) to hold the text. Your text will go into the black box. Now
we can type some text and change color of each alphabet using color tab in Text tool.
Step 5: We now create a new layer. Create a new layer from visible using the menu: Layer → New from Visible. At
this point, our layer palette will have three layers on it, the background, the text and our new layer “Visible”.
Step 6: Now we may want to get a little fancier and add an effect to the logo; Like- Filter NoiseHSV Noise and
Filter NoiseCIE Inch Noise.
Step 7: We get logo when everything is done.

A logo is a blend of textual and visual symbolism that fills two needs. It tells individuals the name of the
