Simplify the expression 2(a2 + ab) + 3 − ab and find its value at a=5 , b = -3.
30. A path 2.5 m wide is built along the border inside a square garden of side 50 m. Find:
f) the area of the path
g) the cost of planting grass in the remaining portion of the garden at the rate of Rs.20 per
m2 .
