GCSO Arrests Summary Dec 2-8 2019

The GCSO law enforcement summary reports on several arrests made between December 2 and December 8, 2019. Sgt. Ferrell arrested Jonathan Sims for contempt of court and failing to pay child support. Michael Arena and Chrystan Davidson were both arrested at the Gulf County Detention Facility for violating their probation terms. The GCSO also transported Taylor Green and Hannah Pitts from Bay County where Green faces drug trafficking and possession charges and Pitts was wanted for driving without a valid license.

GCSO LAW ENFORCEMENT SUMMARY


DECEMBER 2, 2019 – DECEMBER 8, 2019

On Monday, December 3, Sgt. S. Ferrell arrested Jonathan Lamar Sims (44) on Contempt
of Court and Writ of Bodily Attachment for failing to pay child support.

On Tuesday, December 3, Michael Walter Arena (29) was arrested at the Gulf County
Detention Facility on a warrant for violation of probation. Arena was on probation for
Battery.

On Tuesday, December 3, Chrystan Paige Davidson (29) was arrested at the Gulf County
Detention Facility on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Davidson was on probation for
Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Grand Theft
of a Firearm.

On Tuesday, December 3, the GCSO transported Taylor Michelle Green (31) and Hannah
Alexis Pitts (19) from the Bay County Jail to the Gulf County Detention Facility. Pitts was
wanted for failing to appear in court on a No Valid Driver’s License charge and Green was
wanted on charges stemming from a search warrant executed by GCSO narcotics
investigators on Fork Drive in August of 2019. Green was charged with Trafficking
Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia.

On Wednesday, December 4, Jason Michael Hormuth (39) was arrested at the Gulf County
Detention Facility on a warrant for Violation of Probation on the original charge of
Possession of Methamphetamine.

On Thursday, December 5, Brittany Annette Kinney (21) was arrested at the Gulf County
Detention Facility on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Kinney was on probation for
Possession of a New Legend Drug.

On Thursday, December 5, Deputy J. Page arrested Shawna Marie O’Bryan (31) while
investigating a suspicious vehicle on Burgess Creek Road. O’Bryan was wanted for

Criminal Mischief following an incident that was reported to the GCSO on June 14, 2019.
During this incident O’Bryan was involved in a verbal altercation which ultimately led to
her breaking a window to another person’s vehicle.

On Friday, December 6, Sgt. S. Ferrell executed an arrest warrant on Linton Road by


arresting Ryan Michael Carver (28). Carver was wanted on a violation of probation
warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine and Burglary of a Structure.

On Sunday, December 8, the GCSO transported David Arthur Broxson Jr. (49) from the
Bay County Jail to the Gulf County Detention Facility. Broxson was being held in Bay
County on a Gulf County warrant for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Sale
of Methamphetamine.
