COMPLETION REPORT

I. RATIONALE
To ensure 100% access to quality education, the Department of Education
has issued memoranda and orders pertaining to early registration. This activity
involves not only the advance registration of school children but also it aims to
identify and locate out-of-school youth and bring them back in school. Colunguan
Elementary School as direct implementer of department’s vision and mission never
fails to implement and support every program and policy aimed at improving basic
quality education service. Since the commencement of Early Registration on
January 26, 2019, teachers have undertaken relevant activities like the registration
of learners for the next school year and house-to-house campaigns and mapping of
all possible learners.

IV. IMPACT
With the information derived from the early registration data, teachers are
provided with sound basis for planning for the school year. Conducted mapping and
house-to-house campaigns are believed to have encouraged out-of-school youth to
continue in their study.

V. CONCLUSION
Early Registration, with all the activities in support of it, is of high essence in
ensuring learners to have access to basic quality education.

VI. RECOMMENDATION
It is then recommended to every school to religiously undertake activities in support
of the Early Registration not only during the first days but throughout the duration
of the 1-month activity.
