COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT


FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD AND EMPLOYMENT GENERATION

This provides its direction in pursuing a more vibrant competitive edge by developing the
barangay as special economic zone of the city that will engage in agro-based enterprises and
become active players in the market. The sector’s economic development is therefore vital in
achieving inclusive growth.

The goal of this economic sector agenda – is to generate local employment opportunities and
sustain community livelihood for the household population in order to increase their purchasing
capacity.

Here below is the service area objective, targets and strategies adopted by the stakeholders of the
economic sector:

1. Enterprise, Business and Industry Promotion


The goal – is to promote and develop Barangay Apopong economic landscape more attractive to
investors that will provide greater opportunity for community enterprise and entrepreneurship
development.
