Mr. Santhoshkumar, age 25, had a semen analysis. The analysis found a semen volume of 1.0 mL (below the normal range of 2.0 mL or more), rapid motility of only 10% (below the normal range of 50% or more), and normal sperm morphology of 65% (within the normal range of 60% or more). The interpretation was oligospermia, or a low sperm count of 7.0 million/mL, which is below the reference range of 20 million/mL or more.
