(AM}67MB) Stooring whos! emblem (AN225) Clutch Cloarance Gauges x2 (13126) \N Sear FRlemove the four seat bolts, shakeproof washers and plein washers to remove the piastic bag protection from around seat. jnstall the four seat bolts, shakeproo! washers and plain washers, making sure that the seat js adjusted into the desired position by Using the seat transmission slots, tighton bots. CHARGING THE BATTERY Undo the battery clamp screw and nut and remove bath clamps; lit battery cover from battory, Flemove the tape covering the fl holes inthe batiery, Fil each col ofthe battery until the acid levels ae In between the upper and lower levels marked on the battery luse 1.240-1.260 specie gravity) Using 2 12V, 4 oF ‘amp battery charger, charge the battery for a penod 3f 30 minutes. FUEL TAP Eneure the in line fuel tap under the fuel ark ls turned to the on position tetore attempting to start engine, (Use unloaded fuel only). Tum off fusl wap after use. STEERING WHEEL Using tre tommy bar (AMOO7) and tube spanner (AIOD861) supplied, tighten the steeting wheel using he nut and washer attached to the steering shaft Torque setting tor the tearing wheal nut is 20Nm (180Lbtin), Align the three locating pina in the steering emblem ‘with the holes supplied in the steering wheel, press the steering emblem in using hand pressure only. ‘SEAT SPRINGS Insta and tighten the two seat springs, bolls and nuts to the trangular brackets welded to the chassis, which are siuated under the seat transmission, CLUTCH PLATE ADJUSTMENT Engage and disengage the cutter lever a few times and leave in the engaged postion, this will centre the clutch arm assembly io the neural position. Loosen the four square head set screws on the clutch plates using Ube spanner (AMOOSC!) and tommy bat (AM007), Insert the clearance gauges suppliec, one between the forward clulch plate and cone and the other between the reverse clutch plate and cone and hook them onto the intershaft. Side both clutch plates ‘against the clearance gauges and clutch cone, tighten the set screws firmly onto the flat on the intershatt. Remove gauges. MICRO (SAFETY) SWITCHES Foot micro - With cutter lever disengaged, attempt to Star the engine without using the foot micro such Engine should not star. Disengagement micro - While siting on machine with oot on micro switch ané cutter engaged, attempt to start machine. Engine should not star. ‘Seat micro - While siting on rrachine start engine, ‘engage cutter and iit weight trom seat. Engine should ext out. 27.00.00 Rear Discharge Grass Catcher Assembly and Mounting Instructions for 13HP 30” Rear Discharge Model Only v x 1/ Place the tame with the short tubes facing up, on alevel surface. 2/ Fit the lower plain tube bow aver the two ‘ubes that lean inwards, Note: Make sure the two dilied holes on the sides of the bow are also facing inwards as the spreader rods fit into these. Fit the upper tube bow (with welded brackot) over the outward facing frame tubes. Note: Spreader rod holes must face inwards 3/Insail the spreader rods 44 Feed the bag over the assembled frame with ‘he plain piastic to the plain tube bow (bottom of the catcher). Tur the catcher over and clip the ag onto the frame, 5/ Using a smal soldering iron, mett through the mesh at the four bolt holes in the top of the frame to sui the handle bots. 6/ Using the two MBx40 screws & nyloc nuts, fit the large lifting hand to the rear of the catcher wih me handle facing forward. Using two MExZO screws and nyloe nuts, ft the small handle to the front of the catcher with the hand facing to the rear. 7/ Fasten caicher bracket mount to the mower Using one 3/8" x 1" UNC screw at the top hole and faston with one 3/8” HD Washer and 9/8" ‘nyloe nut. Using two N12 x 30 ecrawe and two M12 nyioc nuts, fasten bottom of mount. 8/ Side catcher chute into position, ensuring the clip plate has engaged the rivet on the cutter heusing 5 Position catcher backing plate and push plate ‘opening over the chute opening. 10) Fit catcher mounting brackets to backing plate and mount bracket using four MB x 25 Screws, four washers, secure to mount bracket with four nyloc nuts. NOTE: ‘When fiting tho catcher, the mounting brackets may need adjusting. Rleplace blades, Bolts and nuts only in pairs to meimain coect balance, Reconmended blade nut torgue is. 96-40Nm. Do not over tighten. Keep both feet and hands clear at all times of the mowng atachmen’ While attempting to start or operate the machine.
