At the end of the lesson, the student should be able to:

a. state the important details of the article "Sawatdee... Hello Beautiful Bangkok";
b. formulate WH-questions about the article;
c. answer the formulated question about the article; and
d. recite the similarities of Bangkok to Philippines' culture, tradition and belief.

questions inside, as I play the music, you are going to
pass this box to your classmates, and when the music
stops, the one who hold the box will pick a question
inside then answer it. Is that clear?

Now, look at the answers we got on the board,
what is the word created is you combine all the first Ma'am, It's THAILAND
letters together?
Good! it is Thailand. Our topic for today is about Yes Ma'am.
the country of Thailand, most particularly the city of " Sawatdee... Hello Beautiful Bangkok."
Bangkok, has anyone of you here who knows any
stories or article about Thailand?

3. Discussion
I will be giving you hand-outs of the story
entitled "Sawatdee... Hello Beautiful Bangkok."
Now, I have prepared copies of an article that
you are going to read by group. So there will be five
groups. Please count in.
So each group will receive five copies for the
group reading but you are just going to read it silently
then later, we will read it in chorus.

From that article, have you listed or at least Yes, ma'am.


remember the important details?
If that so, I would like you to write 3 questions
and your questions will start according to the name of
the group. Group 1 will be the WHO group, Group 2 will
be the WHEN group, 3 will be the WHERE group, 4 will
e the WHAT group and lastly, Group 5 will be the WHY
group. Is that clear? Yes, ma'am.

4. APPLICATION
From that formulated questions of yours, you
will be using that to ask the other group. WHO group
will ask WHEN group, WHEN group will ask WHERE Yes, ma'am.
group and so on. Is there any questions or clarification?

5. GENERALIZATION
This time. I want you a representative of each (the group representatives will state their answers in front.
