OBJECTIVES/ PURPOSES/ • Mission: As a Christian Organization, we offer practical, emotional,

illness both while they are in hospital and upon their release until such

family care. We also assist families of the children to network and

We also envision a system whereby children are enabled to
access appropriate healthcare, medications, counsel and temporary
shelter tailored to meet their specific needs.
Goals: That the children and families we come into caontact with,
would come to know the tender heart of Christ as they see His love
in action. We believe that our helping hands will also help to heal
broken hearts.
Objectives
1. To provide for the physical needs of the indigent patients of
James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, most especially within the
pediatric departments, by offering medical assistance in the form of
medicines, medical supplies and finances for workup's and operations.
In cases where families have traveled from a distance, assistance is
also extended for clothing, food, and fares.
2. To provide temporary shelter for sick children following their
treatment until they are well enough to return to their own home
environment or to the care of the DSWD as the need arises.
3. To provide a supportive counseling service in conjunction with
the DSWD to clients who are victims of rape of sexual abuse and then

later direct them to appropriate organizations that will cater directly to
their needs.

Developmental and Educational Theater is a very effective tool to
educate the benficiaries and the general public. The participants in the
theater training undergo series of artistic and improvisational workshops
in order to come up with social plays to be performed in public as part of
the advocacy campaign.

school to come to office and attend review during Tuesday and
Thursday, a 2 hour review session with the teacher from the Department
of Education.
• Para Legal Assistance - support and assist victims of trafficking
and abused women on court hearings and monitoring the victims.

• Tetra Pack Bag Making (used tetra pack juice drink) - Buklod now
initiate to build and manage enterprise to help women use their
knowledge and skills and sustain the organization.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND Over 300 children have gone through the home, all having been given the

50 children residing in the home.
All the children that we have had in the past that were offspring of US
servicemen are grown now. We have no children at this time that have
been father by US service men. We have three children that are the
product of street children that were father by US servicemen. We have
two children that were father by Chinese. All the rest are pure Filipino.
Some of the developments in the last few years that has been
constructed are a fish pond, an orchard, dinning facilities that can
accommodate about 72 children, children's living quarters made of local
native material, staff housing, and a school building consisting of two
classrooms and a library
