-Implemented Book Buddies, a 1 hour weekly reading intervention for struggling first grade readers
-Conducted pre-assessment of reading ability and designed intervention focused on improving primer
word identification and fluency
- Assessed reading fluency through Timed Repeated Readings by calculating words read per minute
-Created line graph so child could see evidence of progress in words read per minute
