Principal’s Message
Memory is a manifestation of imagination. Everyone possesses the ability to
imagine. Only the degree differs.
Imagination not only includes day dreaming, travel or seeing a picture. It also
includes creating a mental picture and physical sense of emotion and feelings.
The power of imagination strengthens thoughts, channelizes emotion and
helps in creating, recreating and remodeling new things, a new world and a new life.
Therefore my dear writers, poets and painters, dream big and change your life
for your own and others benefit and that will put you on the path of success,
satisfaction and happiness.
This platform of Vidyalaya patrika should provide my young friends the
impetus and inspiration to grow within with conviction and commitment.
I thank my learned members if editorial board for their ceaseless effort in
bringing out the maiden issue of Vidyalaya Patrika.
I humbly wish the magazine makes good reading and invite the valuable
suggestions that will help up to move on ……

From Editor’s Desk


“Education to be complete must be humane; it must include not only the training of the
intellect but also the refinement of the heart and the discipline of the spirit.”
We, in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan believe that “ The Child comes to the school not to
be informed but to be transformed”. The objectives of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan are not to
just produce bookworms or lop side individuals. The entire the network of KVS with a well-tailored
Scholastic and Co-scholastic activities Endeavour to impart man-making and character building
education. They have been striving with energy and enthusiasm to shape individual’s creativity,
wisdom and integrity.
The Vidyalaya Patrika mirrors the creativity talents of our young poets, writers and artists.
It gives me immense pleasure to present this small maiden floral bouquet with several
scents and hues earnestly prepared by our budding writers and surely hope that it would be
appreciated by you all.
I am extremely thankful to our Principal, Mr. D. K. Tripathy who has immensely guided and
encouraged us to bring out the maiden issue of our Vidyalaya Patrika. I am also thankful to all my

आगच्छन् । पररहासेन तेषु एक: धनी
(धनेन हीन: मनुष्य: कदािप हीन: न भिित
बालक: एकस्या: र्शारटकाया: मूल्यं पृष्टिान्

Life is not full of roses, My heart fills with joy,

We have to cover heaps as pointed noses, To see the green grass,

Its full of adventure, Grow under my feet,

But of some danger. It fills me with pleasure,

To grab the branches,

Its full of ups and downs, Of the banyan tree,

Its difficult to be in its towns, And jump down from height.

But those who have a fear, I can see myself enjoying,

Often mourn with tears, The smooth flowing water,

But those who are brave, Touching the sands to get the chance,

Often become moody and grave. To touch the beautiful and gorgeous fishes,

Happiness surrounds me when I enter the farm,

To complete the task in life, To see a lot of chores going on,

We should work as fast as sharp knife, The pigs to be watched,

But never stop or look at the back, And hens crying about for their food,

Or else you would be at the point of attack. And water sprinkled on the back of the horses,

All these fill me with enjoyment,

To touch the nature and fill it,

And above all I am the son of the nature,

And imagine the sun running after me,

As my father and I run,

With a moody picture beneath the clouds.
