Ø H AV E
øhave was started by Anders and Katrine and is situated in Svend-
borg, Denmark. The dynamic couple heard a local grower was
looking for young people who would like to rent some land and
sell their vegetables locally.
Since Anders and Katrine always wanted to have a big bite of a
simple wonderful life they took up the challenge and started the
No-Dig market garden øhave.
THE OUTPUT
There’s much more planned for this growing market garden but
after just two seasons customers are lining up. Produce is sold
3 times per week: Tuesday delivery, Friday delivery and a local
Saturday market.
The couple enjoy a steady 110+ customers at the local market and
also supply local restaurants, caterers and school kitchens.
Customers are invited to regular volunteer days, field walks and
pop up restaurant events on the farm. To help make all of this
happen they were joined by 2 employees during the second
growing season.

We want to take part in a positive regenerative change and be-
lieve reaching far and wide socially is of critical importance. Market
gardening, for us, is a tool. A tool to reach our goals.
