 Continually ensuring the availability of fast moving spares & consumables at store. Preparing list
of required spare parts for procurement for Inventory & procurement of urgently required spares
from local market.
 Determining the condition of machinery while in operation. Using experience enables the repair
of problem components prior to failure. Helping engineers reduce the possibility of catastrophic
failure of equipment, order parts in advance, schedule manpower, and plan other repairs during
the downtime
 Respond to any emergency situation such as Plant trip, accident or incident and take necessary
actions to bring back Plant to a normal situation and to avoid any other reoccurrence in the future.
 Manage subordinates, directly guide, supervise and assume responsibility for the performance of the
Operations shift personnel reporting to the role. Follow-up shift staff’s leave/absence schedule to
ensure that manpower is always available for the sake of Plant & Machinery Operations.
 Update, recevance & transfer of Plant & Machinery which is done through EIP server.
 Responsible for P&M ISO Documentation and Asset Management System

Installation & Commissioning:

 Installing and commissioning of Equipment’s of Ready Mix plant, hot mix plant, WMM
plant Material Handling Equipment’s including Pug mill, skip elevators, Stacker,
Conveyors, Storage and Screw feeding Equipment’s, Packing units, mixers,
Weighbridge etc.

Project Planning & Execution:

 Planning, control & troubleshooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules.
 Involving finalization of technical specifications, procurement, scheduling, progress monitoring, manpower
planning, etc.
 Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications, cost estimates for erection &
commission of the plant.
 Cost Management including capitalisation of projects, Contractor Billing & Reconciliation of Steel.

Quality/ Safety:

 Maintaining quality standards, ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices viz
ISO, identifying gaps & taking corrective / preventive action.
 Establishing quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems and studying HAZOP
analysis in plant to ensure safe operations.
 Ensuring Site Safety – Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Job Clearance, Job Permit, FHRA (Fall Hazard
Risk Assessment), etc.

Team Management:

 Leading the team of technical staff & providing technical support for Contractors and Mechanical team.
 Monitoring, training & motivating the manpower for accomplishing the desired objective.
