Project Title: “Gender andPlan
Development towards Sensitivity
on Equality”
Rationale:
Maharlika Elementary School as a public institution is not only responsible in fulfilling its
commitment to deliver quality education but to produce learners who are eager to be individuals desirous
to be future leaders of our own country passionate of their own countrymen with respect, equality and
acceptance on gender and differences.
As part of DepEd, we assist its singular vision to help produce learners who are well-rounded,
globally competitive and ready to take global challenges. Moreover, we view gender equality and
sensitivity on individual differences as significant milestones of our school and we take pride to elevate our
distinction to being one of DepEd’s catalysts in putting lights to sensitivity on gender equality and
awareness.
Objectives:
With its claim to being the mainstream of a school system where there is an avenue of gender
equality, we design an action plan to highlight the activities, persons involved, resources or requirements
needed and means of verification in the completion of the school-wide program. Specifically, the action
plan presented in the proceeding section aims to:
1. Present in diagram the program’s objectives, activities, persons involved, resources needed, means
of verification, etc.;
2. Lay-out the over-all framework of the activities supporting the program implementation; and
3. Explicate to the school head and the implementing team the flow and the over-all impression of the
activities needed in the implementation of the program.
