To develop a application for bus reservation syastem using VB.NET

1) Introduction :
Micro-project enhances the skill of our subject, examines the important concepts and
techniques related to course and enable students to have an insight into technology
involved to make the VB.NET concepts easy.
The main objective of Bus Reservation System Project in Vb.Net is to facilitate the bus
employees as well as providing facilities to the customer.
In this application we have implemented customers details, login information, seat
information, details of booked ticket, available buses, etc. The General objectives of this
system are as follows:-
a) To manipulate the Banking transactions with instant confirmation for the reservation
etc.
b) To save time and make better reservation system.
c) To increase efficiency of bus employees.
d) For faster access of data and information.
e) For smooth and fair running of the organization.
f) To increase the spreaded area of the organization.
2) Aim:
To develop a application for bus reservation syastem using VB.NET
3) Intended Course Outcome :
A. Use Visual Studio IDE to design application.
B. Develop GUI Application using Form Control and its events.
C. Apply Object Oriented concepts in GUI Application.
D. Use Data access controls to store data in Database and retrieve it.
E. Use Data Binding in GUI Application.
Literature review:
Information related to the topic will be search by various sources like internet, various
books related to the course, discussion with all the team members related to all the
collected information.

4) Proposed Methodology:
Procedures that will be adopted during the completion of micro project are as follows:
Firstly, a discussion will be held with the group members on the topic of ‘to check the
string is palindrome or not palindrome’ and every ones idea about the topic will be
encouraged.
The topic will be divided into several modules specified to the group members which
will be assigned one of them.
Through research will be on the modules and each and every group members which will
include all the algorithms and techniques.
All the modules shall be perfectly arranged into the specified format and all the
errors/mistakes committed will be resolved.
Finally , the copy will be submitted to the concerned course coordinator.
