Step #1 An Irresistible Lead Magnet
A lead magnet is something you use to giveaway in exchange for a person’s email address. The lead
magnet must be free to act as a bait for your subscribers.
Now, when it comes to creating your lead magnet, there are two criterias you must follow. First, it has to
be a digital download. This is to ensure it costs you nothing to give it away and you do not need any
unnecessary expense.
The second criteria is the most important of all. The lead magnet needs to be irresistible and
value-packed because it is the first point of contact you will have with your audience.
You want to use it to your advantage to wow your audience to instantly build your like-trust factor.
When they see your lead magnet, it must be irresistible to quickly make your audience want it and give
you their email address for it.
Then, the minute they open your lead magnet, it should contain value-packed content that makes you an
authority within your niche. By doing so, this will turn your audience into loyal subscribers who want to
open your emails and listen to you.
Most people who struggle to turn emails into profit overlooked this which leads them to a failing business.

To create your lead magnet, there are 3 different methods you can use and we’ll share them with you

Method #1 Using PLR
PLR stands for Private Label Rights. With PLR products such as PDFs, eBooks and even videos, you can
legally claim and distribute them on the Internet as your own. In fact, some of these PLRs, you can even
sell it online. However, we do not use PLR to sell products, we can use it as a lead magnet to start
building your email list.
One website that we use and we highly recommend using is called ID PLR. Inside you can have access to
thousands of PLR products and use it as a lead magnet. Simply visit the website and create a free
account at: www.iproacademy.com/plr.
Using PLR can help you quickly get into the market.
However, you need to be careful when selecting which PLR you want to use. First, you need to ensure
that the distribution rights allow you go use it to build an email list. It will tell you on the download page
on what the restrictions are.
Secondly, you need to make sure you go through the content within the PLR.
After all, you are giving it away on your behalf and if it does not set the tone or goes against what your
beliefs are, then it can work against you, rather than working for you.
On the bright side, there are some top-notch PLRs that consist of all the assets such as a
nicely-designed eBook cover and even a 3D version of it. If you are able to find them, you will drastically
reduce your time and effort needed to quickly get in market to use it to build your email business.
Method #2 Outsourcing It
If you are not a writer and do not find anything to your liking in the world of PLR, then you can consider
hiring a freelancer to write it for you.
Freelancers are known as ghostwriters. They are professional writers who will help you write whatever
you like. Often times, you simply share with them your eBook title and what you’d like to talk about, and
these professional writers will do their research and write them for you.
The beauty of outsourcing is that you will have a unique lead magnet.
This is because with PLR products, others may have used the same one. So to really stand out from the
crowd and create something that is unique to your brand, hiring a ghostwriter to create the lead magnet
is definitely an advantage.
In fact, it requires no website, no product creation and worrying about customers!
Just send your new subscribers to the offer with your tracking link and see your commission roll in.
The crazy part is, businesses offer as high as 90% commission for every sale you refer to them! That
means you’re making more money than these businesses without even worrying about a single thing!
Let’s say if you can make 1 sale a day with a $50 product at 90% commission.
If you do the math, that’s $1,350 profit right into your pocket and all you need to do is write a simple

That said, the time to start building your email business will be a little longer given that you need to find
the right writer and give them time to write. You also need to keep in mind the potential back and forths
editing that may be needed.
But if outsourcing is the route for you, we recommend hiring writers on Upwork.com or Freelancer.com.
These two are our go-to sources for finding outside help.
In fact, we have a word of caution for you. Do not go to Fiverr to find your writer. Fiverr can be superbly
cheap in price, but the quality is not up to standard. After all, you pay for what you get.
Lastly, make sure you do your due diligence on the content that your writers write. You need to ensure
that they are not including any copyright materials so you don’t get in trouble.
When using Upwork.com and Freelancer.com, all you need to do is post a job posting. Share the exact
topic you want to write about and a rough outline of what you want the writer to write about.
Then, after a few days, you will receive a list of candidates that you can go through to see who is the
right fit. Simply choose the best one and get them started on the task.
Method #3 Write It Yourself
This is pretty much self-explanatory. Writing it yourself won’t cost you any money, but it requires your
time. As a business owner, time is money and if you want to quickly get your email business up and
running, then perfect it later, you can go down the route of PLR or outsourcing.
However, if you are absolutely obsessed with your knowledge and want the best of the best lead magnet,
then you can write it yourself. We at iPro Academy choose the route of writing each and every one of our

As a matter of fact, writing your own lead magnet comes with an additional perk.
That’s flexibility.
You can write whatever you’d like, share your story and also paint your own persona into the lead
magnets so when your future email subscribers read your email, they already know you so that creating
the rapport will be whole lot easier.
In a nutshell, these are the 3 different methods that you can choose to create your lead magnet. All 3
methods work. You choose what you are comfortable with and stick to the game plan.
Once you get your Lead Magnets made, the next step is to make it look pretty.
Don’t worry, you do not need to learn how to design or use Photoshop.
There’s one free tool that we use. It’s called Canva.
Canva has been a game-changer when it comes to graphic design.
Inside Canva, you will find templates that are available to you under the “Book Cover” section.
There are already pre-designed templates that you simply choose, replace the text and the photos, and
you will now have a nicely designed eBook cover.
Afterwards, you just need to find some online software to turn it into a 3D image and you now have your
lead magnets - 100% ready to go!
Step #2 A Lead Capture Mechanism
Once you’ve created your irresistible lead magnet, you would need a Lead Capture Mechanism.
Don’t worry, you don't need to create a brand new website and the whole 9 yards.
You simply create a Facebook Lead Ad to give away your lead magnet within Facebook and start
building an email list.
To create your first Facebook Lead Ad, it’s a simple 3-step process.
Step #1 Choosing Correct Objective
Within Facebook, there are over a dozen objectives that you can choose from. What you choose
determines how Facebook optimizes for your advertising campaigns. In fact, it even has a significant
difference in CPM (cost per thousand impressions) based on which objective you choose.
Most people when they are running their Facebook ads choose the conversion objectives. Nothing wrong
with that and it is sought out to be the best option since your ultimate goal for your ads is to generate a
lead or sale.
However, when there are over 7 million advertisers on Facebook and everyone choosing the same
objective and using the same targeting, it will end up to be a bidding war. The ultimate winner will actually
be Facebook and not businesses.
This is why we constantly innovate and find ways to leverage Facebook ads and maximize our ad spend.
In fact, thanks to our continuous testing, we started using the objective Lead Generation.
With Lead Generation, it’s designed for you to get as many leads as possible at the lowest cost possible.
And in order for you to utilize Facebook Lead Ad, you need to choose the objective Lead Generation.
Step #2 Configuring Your Targeting
Once you have selected your objective, the next step is to configure your targeting in your Ad Set level.
Here, the ultimate goal is to choose a large targeting audience size.
You don’t want to have too small of an audience. In fact, the bigger the audience the better. When you
configure your targeting, you also need to make sure you run automatic placement to allow Facebook’s
learning machine to do all the work for you.
We have to admit, the targeting for Lead Ads is by far the easiest in comparison to other Facebook Ads
strategy out there.
Just a large audience size that is within your niche and using automatic placement will do the job.
Let’s say you are wanting to build an email business all about Keto Diet.
Just target Ketosis and that’s it.
Step #3 Setting Up Your Ad & Facebook Instant Form
The last step of the process is creating your ad.
With Facebook Lead Ads, you will find the settings to be different than a traditional Facebook Ad you’ll
see. In it, you will see a new section that’s called Instant Form.
Since using Lead Ads, you are not required to have your own website, you will need to create the form
that’s living natively within Facebook itself.
This form is what you need to create, but before we get to the Instant Form, let’s talk about the ad
creation process real quick.
First, select your Facebook Page that you wanted to use to run your ads on.
This is mandatory in order for you to run your Facebook Ad.
Our recommendation for your Facebook Page should be your name. After all, you are the person that is
building the email list and you are the person who sends out the email to your future email subscribers.
So, the more relationship-building you can do, the better your emails will perform.
The next step, choose either the image ad or video ad.
With Lead Ads, we’ve noticed that image ad works the best and the format should also be in square
format. That’s 1,080 pixels by 1,080 pixels. Again, use Canva to create a nice ad with your 3D eBook cover
to use as the main image.
Then, it’s your post text. This is the text area that’s above the image or the video that you choose. Simply
put what they will learn from your lead magnet, then follow by a call to action and that’s it!
Lastly, it’s your Headline. This is the text that’s right under your image. Once again, on here, you would
want to put what the benefits are to grab your lead magnet.
Once your ad is completed, you will then be asked to create an Instant Form.
The Instant Form is pretty straight-forward and it is broken down into 5 sections.
Section #1 Form Type
Simply choose “Higher Volume” to get the most email addresses with your form.
Section #2 Intro
The Intro allows you to have additional information for selling purposes right under your image. I
usually turn this off when I build my email list. Unless our intention is something else, then I will
enable it and fill in some sales copy technique right inside.
Section #3 Questions
Under the Questions section, this is where you choose what information you want to collect. By
default, you will collect the full name and email address of the Facebook user, which are
pre-populated on the Lead Form based on the user’s Facebook profile. In fact, it’s the leading
reason why the cost per lead is so much less than any other objectives since the user who is about
to opt-in does not need to re-enter all their information and it can also eliminate the human-error
problem of entering an incorrect email address.
Section #4 Privacy Policy
Since Facebook is giving you their user’s information, you need to ensure that you have a privacy
policy in place to let Facebook know how the information is used and stored. If you have a website
already, just put in the URL of your privacy policy. On the other hand, if you do not have a website,
we tend to use the privacy policy of the website that we are going to promote as an affiliate.
Section #5 Thank You Screen
The last step is the Thank You Screen. It’s the confirmation page that’s shown to the user who has
just opted in onto your email list. Use this screen to your advantage. You can edit the website URL
and drop an affiliate link on the Thank You Screen so you can earn instant commissions! If you are
not an affiliate or using Lead Ad as an affiliate, you can put in the URL to the next step of your
customer’s journey that you want your customer to take.
Now, instead of writing each of the steps in complete detail and turning this into a never-ending ebook, I
recorded a complete, step by step video tutorial for you where you can simply follow along to create your
first Facebook Lead Ad even if you have never created one before.
However, despite the fact that Facebook makes it easy, there’s a huge flaw.
Personally, we believe this is the biggest mistake that Facebook has with their revolutionary Lead Ads

Each day, you would need to download the excel file of all the emails and upload it to your favorite email

provider gives you the blessing to do so, the second problem arises.
If you only upload once a day, by the time your first email gets sent out to your new subscribers, they
