Plant and Loneliness

The document describes a scientific study that aims to test the hypothesis that plants grow better when grown in proximity to other plants. It outlines five groups of plants that will be observed: a control group of individually planted seeds and four test groups with seeds planted in different configurations and densities, with or without adult plants. The study will measure characteristics like leaf length, root extension, plant length, weight, and leaf color after three weeks to compare the growth of plants grown alone versus with others. Temperature, sunlight, watering, soil, and fertilization will be kept consistent between groups.

Do Plants Feel Lonely?

A Scientific Study of Plants

Introduction
The purpose of the study is to prove the hypothesis of how plants will grow better
(healthier and faster) when grown with other plants nearby.

Execution
There will be five groups of plants observed and studied.

Group A, control group:

seven seeds planted in different containers individually at the same time. After three
weeks from the moment of planting, the result will be taken as average from all of the
grown seeds.

Group B, test group:

seven containers with three seeds in each, planted at the same time. After three weeks
from the moment of planting, the result will be taken as average from all of the grown
seeds of all the containers.

Group C, test group:

Three containers with seven seeds in each, planted at the same time. After three weeks
from the moment of planting, the result will be taken as average from all of the grown
seeds of all the containers.

Group D, test group:

seven containers with one seed and two adult plants in each, where each seed is planted
at the same time. After three weeks from the moment of planting, the result will be taken
as average only from the grown seeds of all the containers.

Group E, test group:

five containers with one seed and five adult plants in each, where each seed is planted at
the same time. After three weeks from the moment of planting, the result will be taken as
average only from the grown seeds of all the containers.
