INTRODUCTION
A site visit to construction was organised on 13th of Feb 2019 by the site incharge. Before
anything all the safety precaution gave by guiding teacher such as, wearing helmet, proper
shoes and the apron. Then base on the plan we reached to the site after an hour journey by
bus. This site is generally a framed structure of G+6 building. It is the flat scheme project by
DHL Infrabulls. We had a great extent toward for this wonderful site visit. In the site visit we
look for the RCC columns and beams provided in the framed structure and the type of brick
bonding. Information of the above criteria gives the clearance while studying the civil
engineering subject.

TOTAL PROJECT AREA :- 2.09 Acres

BUILT UP AREA : 2 BHK - 990-1000Sq ft


3 BHK - 1900-2000 Sq ft
OBSERVATION :-
As these was our site visit as to learn something through we seen many
building being constructed but to observe something as a civil engineer was a
different experience we observed construction and ask question to the site
engineer and relevant person. Starting from basic unit excavation , compaction
, foundation ,shear wall beams, columns ,etc

WORK PROGRESSION ON SITE

 The construction of an building was completed near about to 80% and the six
storied building was completed and finishing work is in under process.
 The site engineer explain all the things about the construction of wall and we
understand the every small thing from steel rods size to the column and the footing
size.
 The worker making the stirrup for the construction of the column as shows
below.
 There was a English and Flemish bond construction was done .
 The internal finishing was going on.
 There was a painting going on in the first flooring.

SPECIFICATION OF SITE
 STRUCTURE : R.C.C. Frame structure with brick work and normal plaster.
 DOOR : Main door bajaj be secure and internal flush door.
 WINDOW : Aluminium frame glazed sliding window with M.S grills
 FLOORING : Vitrified tiles in all other rooms and passage
 KITCHEN : Semi modular kitchen with granite top with S.S sink glazed
tiles.
 P.O.P. : P.O.P In All Rooms.
 TOILET : Ceramic Glazed Tiles on wallup to full ht.
 ELECTRICAL :Concealed electric fitting in each room, power-plug in bath.
 PLUMBING :Sanitary fitting a per general practice, one wash supply
through separate lines from well and corporation tank.
 PAINTING : 2 coat putty in all rooms with paint.
 LIFT :Lift with A.R.D (Auto Resque Device) software
 GENERAL : Maximum privacy to each flat.
 PARKING : Sufficient covered parking for two and four wheelers.

1. BRICKS:-
A brick is building material used to make walls, pavements and other
elements in masonry construction.
Experiment & test on brick :-
I took 2 bricks and crushed together , a ringing metallic sound
heard which confirm the good quality of brick.

2. CEMENT :-
1. Definition& type of cement :

These types of cement contains alumina in considerably larger proportions


(average 40 percent) than normal cement is manufactured by calcining a well-
proportioned mixture of Limestone and Bauxite (Al2O3, n H2O ).
2. Name of company: ACC
3. Weight : 50 kg per bag.

4. Cost: Mainly price per bag of cement Rs. 200-300.


5. Water cement ratio : 22.5 lit’s per 50 kg bag.
3. AGGREGATE :-
As this site we observed different types of aggregates : fine & course
aggregates
The aggregate of 10 mm and 20 mm are used there.

CONCLUSION

 As we have been there we have experienced and gained the knowledge about
the proper site.
 We come to know that how we implement our ideas in proper way.
 The workers on the site are very friendly and adjusting, they gave us a chance
to learn more about a construction.
 We got to know how the work is done on the actual site.
