is it intresting how people recall things,
but itis also very fascinating how
selective your memory can be. If
something bad happens to you, your
brain finds ways of blocking these
negative memorys. Expurts claim that
this is a survival mechanism designed
to protect us. However, this blanking
out can be problematic in some cases.
For example, when someone witneses a
violent crime, police often find that
they are unable to recal many
significant details. Even such basic

perpetrator, or the color of their hair,
can be forgoten. Because of this, police
have, in recent years, turned to
memory specialists to help them
unlock these hidden memories.
Tecniques such as hypnosis are used
that can help people rimember facts
and information stored deep within
their brains. However, it is essential
that we distinguish between the type of
hypnosis that is used by magicians on
TV shows and the methods used in
memory recovery by trained personnel.

Objects, animals, and situations are common features
of dreams, and it is often these small things that can be
of significance to the overall meaning of a dream. Here
are some of the most common things that occur in our

Helen Keller was bor a healthy child in Tuscumbia, Alabama, U.S. on March 27,
11880, but when she was just 19 months old, she became very sick and lost both
her sight and hearing, Her new life began in March, 1887, just after her seventh
birthday. It was then that Anne Sullivan came to Tuscumbia to become Helen's
teacher, Anne Sullivan herself suffered from being almost blind and was therefore
sympathetic to Helen’s situation. She began trying to teach Helen by spelling
words out on the palm of Helen’s hand. She started with simple words, such as
“baby”, and Helen quickly learned to form the letters correctly and in the correct
order, but she didn’t seem to be able to connect the words to objects or ideas.
