1. Simple Present Tense Yes, he has. / No, he has not.
Formula:
(+) S + V1 + O/C 5. Simple Past Tense
(-) S + do/does + not + V1 + O/C Formula:
(?) Do/does + S + V1 + O/C (+) S + to be (was/were) + O/C
Example: S + V2 + O/C
(+) Sisca reads book everyday. (-) S + to be (was/were) + not + O/C
(-) Sisca does not read book everyday. S + did not + V1 + O/C
(?) Does Sisca read book everyday? (?) Did + S + V1 + O/C
Yes, she does. / No, she does not. Example:
(+) He was a businessman in 1999.
2. Present Continuous Tense He visited me yesterday.
Formula: (-) He was not a businessman in 1999.
(+) S + be + V1 + ing + O/C He did not visit me yesterday.
(-) S + be + not + V1 + ing + O/C (?) Did he visit you yesterday?
(?) Be + S + V1 + ing + O/C Yes, he did. / No, he did not.
Example:
(+) He is playing badminton now 6. Past Continuous Tense
(-) He is not playing badminton now Formula:

3. Present Perfect Tense (?) Was/were + S + V-ing + O/C
Formula: Example:
(+) S + has/have + been + O/C (+) She was sleeping when I came.
S + has/have + V3 + O/C (-) She was not sleeping when I came.
(-) S + has/have + not + been + O/C (?) Was she sleeping when you came?
S + has/have + not + V3 + O/C Yes, she was. / No, she was not.
(?) Have/has + S + been + O/C
Have/has + S + V3 + O/C 7. Past Perfect Tense
Example: Formula:
(+) He has been at home for a month. (+) S + had + V3 + O/C
Roni has eaten the steak already. (-) S + had + not + V3 + O/C
(-) He has not been at home for a (?) Had + S + V3 + O/C
month. Example:
Roni has not eaten the steak (+) He had gone to Bali when I called

4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense Yes, he had. / No, he had not.

Example: (-) S + had + not + been + V-ing + O/C

9. Simple Future Tense Will he have rented my house next

S + am/is/are + going to + V1 + O/C Yes, he will. / No, he will not.
(-) S + will/shall + not + V1 + O/C
S + am/is/are + not + going to + V1 12. Future Perfect Continuous Tense
+ O/C Formula:
(?) Will/shall + S + V1 + O/C (+) S + shall/will + have + been + V-ing
Am/is/are + S + going to + V1 + O/C +O
Example: (-) S + shall/will + not + have + been +
(+) She will eat fried rice. V-ing + O
She is going to eat fried rice. (?) Shall/will + S + have + been + V-ing
(-) She will not eat fried rice. +O
She is not going to eat fried rice. Example:
(?) Will she eat fried rice? (+) She will have been visiting us
Is she going to eat fried rice? tomorrow.
Yes, she will. / No, she will not. (-) She will not have been visiting us

10. Future Continuous Tense tomorrow?
Formula: Yes, she will. / No, she will not.
(+) S + will/shall + be + V-ing + O/C

16. Past Future Perfect Continuous
