FORMAT FOR 6th SEMESTER BTECH SYNOPSIS

The Synopsis Format For The Minor Project Should Contain


The Following Features:-
1. Front Page Should Contain The Title Of The Project,
Group Members Name Along With Guide Name
,Designation & Deptt And MRIU logo.
2. Abstract –Should Contain The Objective/Aim Of The
Project
3. Introduction –Containing Technical Review Along with
Literature Survey (Patents,Projects Reviewed & IEEE
Papers etc).
4. Technical Description- Containing The Block Diagram
/Flowchart ,Hardware/Software TOOLS Used Etc.
5. Application /Future Scope .
6. References
7. Milestones
8. Datasheets

The general text shall be typed in the font style ‘Times New
Roman’ and Font size 12. Use 1.5 spacing between the regular
text and quotations.
FONT:-

REGULAR TEXT – Times Roman 12pts. And


normal print
SECTION HEADINGS- Times Roman 14 pts., bold
print and all capitals
SUBSECTION HEADINGS – Times Roman 12 pts.,
bold print and leading capitals i.e. only first letter in
each word should be in capital. 1.5 line spacing should
be used for typing the general text.
The MARGINS for the regular text should as follows:
Front Side - LEFT = 1.50”, RIGHT = 1.00”, TOP =
1.00”, BOTTOM = 1.00”
Back Side - LEFT = 1.00”, RIGHT = 1.50”, TOP =
1.00”, BOTTOM = 1.00”
