● This work was part of my graduate practicum requirements. I worked in after school tutoring with two
students who were at risk of not meeting their PALS benchmarks and who the reading specialist and
homeroom teachers thought would benefit from specialized one on one literacy tutoring.

Undergraduate Research Assistant: Longwood University: June-July 2016
Farmville, VA
● Worked as a research assistant in the SURI undergraduate research program for Dr. Renee Gutierrez.
 ● Analyzed student survey results and worked on literature review for Dr. Gutierrez’s research about
Spanish language retention rates in high school and college students.
● Developed a research project on English language learners’ motivation to learn English and how it
impacted their success in learning English.
o No results published due to chicken pox outbreak at ICA Immigration where survey participants
were located.
Licensed Pharmacy Technician: CVS Pharmacy: February 2013- Present
Multiple stores as floater technician
● Duties include counting pills, stocking inventory, handling prescriptions, and working with other
healthcare professionals to resolve issues (doctors, nurses, insurance companies).
● As a floater technician I was sent to many different stores where I had to adapt to each different
pharmacy staff and layout.
